Coumíneol was first brought out on the Gael Linn label in 1992 to huge critical acclaim. The CD has recently been re-mastered and a bonus track, The Masquerade added. |
|
Coumíneol was Eoin Duignan's first solo CD and was a fresh and
avant-garde approach to Irish traditional music. All the pieces on the
album were original compositions, each steeped in the tradition and telling its
own story.
The album was nominated for the Prestigious IRMA awards and the music has since featured on several documentaries for RTÉ, S4C (Welsh Television) and the BBC. Like all quality music it has stood the test of time. To order a copy of Coumíneol click here |
